Double Braid DACRON (Polyester) or NYLON ??
Dacron Tm is a registered trade name of Dupont Corp. Dacron is polyester. Polyester is a highly STRETCH RESISTANT, as well as MILDEW, ROT, and Ultra Violet resistant, rope. It is used for any hauling application, halyards, main-sheets, or any limited stretch applications.
NYLON: The type of Nylon that we sell is also resistant to mildew, rot, and UV. Use Nylon where some stretch, and return to original length, is needed. Docking lines and anchor lines should be Nylon (Per ABYC, Chapman's, USCG, etc).
